In an effort to better meet the needs of educational institutions in Somalia, SFS works to foster exchanges with educational partners abroad. Through the use of online learning and videoconferencing tools, faculty members in the US and Europe can provide educational opportunities to both students and in-service Somali educators. Metro State University, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and the College of Education at the University of Minnesota are all currently developing learning modules for both students and faculty members at Somali institutions.
