SFS has identified education as the engine to improved livelihoods of Somalis. Through education, good governance and democratic ideals can be learned and adapted, thus eventually transforming the current prevailing culture of violence and lawlessness in Somalia. As such, SFS works to advance educational resources locally and internationally with the goal of developing a system of networking and educational exchange to encourage Diaspora engagement through skills enhancement and information dissemination to various groups in Somalia, including youth groups and women’s organizations.
