Community Health Awareness and Hygiene Promotion Program
This initiative aimed to improve community health awareness and hygiene practices in Puntland, Jubaland, and other regions. It focused on preventative healthcare, maternal health, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) through public education campaigns, school-based hygiene programs, and training for community health workers.
Emergency Food and Nutrition Support for Vulnerable Communities
Designed to combat malnutrition and food insecurity, this project provided nutritional supplements, emergency food aid, and sustainable farming training to at-risk communities. The program focused on IDP camps, drought-affected regions, and households with children suffering from malnutrition.
Climate-Resilient Agriculture and Livelihood Development
In response to recurrent droughts and climate change impacts, this project helped small-scale farmers and pastoralists adopt sustainable agricultural practices. It promoted drought-resistant crops, water conservation techniques, and livestock management training to enhance food security and economic resilience.
