Our Theory of Change

Why Civic Infrastructure Matters

In fragile and post‑conflict contexts, inclusive governance requires more than policies. It requires safe and accessible spaces where citizens can learn, dialogue, and participate constructively.

Reduces youth marginalization
Strengthens citizen‑government dialogue
Institutionalizes youth and women participation
Provides non‑violent civic expression channels
Supports long‑term community resilience

Through the Civic Hub & Media ecosystem, Somali Family Services demonstrates that strengthening governance is not only about policies — it is about creating lasting spaces where communities can learn, dialogue, and lead change.
