Climate Resilience & ECO Village
SFS promotes climate resilience through its ECO Village model, integrating environmental sustainability into schools and communities. Initial interventions include school gardens, waste management systems, solar energy solutions, and climate awareness activities to build early resilience among students. The programme is scaled up through investments in climate-resilient infrastructure, renewable energy, and green learning environments. It strengthens climate and disaster risk education, supports climate-smart livelihoods for vulnerable households, and establishes monitoring systems to inform data-driven responses. Overall, the initiative enhances environmental sustainability, reduces climate vulnerability, and builds resilient school communities.
