Through its Inclusive Social Accountability (ISA) approach, SFS supports Youth and Women Caucuses as structured platforms for meaningful participation in local governance. Under the Dowlad-Wanaag Programme, these caucuses enable young people and women to identify community priorities, develop evidence-based advocacy messages and engage directly with government officials.
SFS strengthens caucus members’ skills in leadership, civic rights, advocacy, public dialogue and monitoring government commitments. Through accountability forums and regular engagement with duty-bearers, the caucuses amplify community voices, influence local decision-making and promote more inclusive, transparent and responsive institutions.
