Executive Director Bio
Abdurashid Ali has stantive international field experiences and skills on social economical and political development. Designed, fund raised, implemented and evaluated many projects advances international development and democratic values. Establishment of Puntland Library and Resource Center, creating alternative livelihood for poor and disadvantaged communities specially women, youth and internal displaced people are some of the community development he has worked on. Promoting and strengthening civil society organizations, independent justices, and independent media including creating Radio Sahan which is public broadcasting community radio station are some of the liberal democracy development causes he executed and delivered.
Abdurashid has has under grade on Liberal Arts Degree on International Development concentrating on community development, democratic development, role of diaspora and women on state-nation buildings. Many international major media including BBC World Service, Star Tribune, United Nation Development Programme and many others attracted and highlighted his achievement on international development.
Other professional skills Mr. Ali has completed includes Managerial Accounting, IT, Human Resource Management, Proposal Writing, Report Writing, Create Branding and he is a DO NO HARM certify trainer. He is talented lobbyist, mobilizer, grass root organizer and relationship builder. Media coverage:
